Norway is developing a new maritime strategy at a time of increasing geopolitical uncertainty, growing international competition, and accelerating green transition efforts. This debate brings together industry leaders and policymakers to discuss how maritime policy can strengthen competitiveness, create jobs, support green shipping investments, and enhance national preparedness and energy security.

The session will open with perspectives from Eirill Bachmann Mehammer (Green Shipping Programme) and Håvard Tvedte (Maritime CleanTech), followed by a debate featuring representatives from government, industry, and the maritime sector.
