Six companies have joined theMaritime CleanTech network, bringing expertise in offshore wind, future fuels, data solutions and vessel innovation.

‍Among the new partners is Havfram, a pure-play offshore wind company that provides transport and installation services for the sector.

“We are excited about becoming a member of Maritime CleanTech. This partnership fits well with our commitment to sustainability,” says Renate Lystad, Chief Sustainability Manager at Havfram.

“Equipped with hybrid battery technology and future-ready zero-emission fuel solutions, they will be among the greenest installation vessels in the offshore wind industry. We are looking forward to sharing knowledge and exploring innovative solutions together,” says Lystad.

Fuels, Foils, Data and Tech

In addition to Havfram, five other companies have joined the Maritime CleanTech family:

• Fuella AS is developing, building, and operating green hydrogen and green ammonia plants, including the first large-scale green ammonia plant in Europe. The 130 MW plant will be established at Skipavika in the Gulen municipality.
• Nortech AI specialises in maritime data integration, harmonizing and standardizing fragmented onboard and land-based data to support advanced maritime solutions.
• Scalesia AS is pioneering hydrofoil technology with a passive control system, enhancing energy efficiency and performance in maritime transport.
• Brim Tech AS is developing propulsion and energy management systems for zero-emission vessel operations, bringing advanced clean technology to the maritime sector.
• Kurtala Holding AS is developing small-scale green ammonia production in Stord, Norway to support the maritime industry’s green transition.
