With Iversen onboard the team, Maritime CleanTech strengthens its commitment to shape policies for accelerating decarbonization. Welcome, Reber!

This strategic hire coincides with Maritime CleanTech’s ongoing expansion of activities focused on launching innovative solutions and enabling market adoption. Iversen will be instrumental in managing key projects that drive sustainable maritime technologies and shaping policies that support the industry's shift towards a low-carbon future.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Reber to our team,” says Ada Jakobsen, CEO of Maritime CleanTech. “His political insight and strategic vision will be invaluable as we advance our ambitious new strategy. With Reber on board, we’re eager to foster new collaborations and speed up the widespread adoption of sustainable solutions.”

Iversen, who holds a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Oslo, brings a strong background in policy development and strategy. “It’s energizing to join a team that’s leading the charge for decarbonization in one of the world’s most advanced maritime clusters,” says Iversen. “The expertise and innovation in this ecosystem are crucial for helping Norway and the global community reach their climate targets and generate green growth along our coast. I’m excited to collaborate with technological frontrunners and contribute my experience in this dynamic environment.”

The entire Maritime CleanTech community warmly welcomes Reber Roald Iversen and looks forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly bring to the organization and the broader maritime industry.
