
One Ocean Week Seattle

One Ocean Week Seattle is an international meeting point for ocean innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. Hosted by Washington Maritime Blue, the event brings together leaders across industry, research, government, youth networks, and civil society as part of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
Why Participate?
This week-long program includes summits, showcases, public events, and cultural activities – all aimed at accelerating a just and sustainable Blue Economy. It is a unique opportunity to connect with global stakeholders working toward climate action, ecosystem health, and maritime innovation.
Industrial & Technological Focus
The program brings together a strong international presence with focus areas including:
- Green maritime solutions
- Digitalization and smart port technologies
- Offshore renewables and subsea innovation
- Maritime decarbonization and energy systems
- Startup–corporate–investor partnerships
Participants will engage in high-level summits, curated networking, and targeted showcases aimed at scaling innovation across the maritime value chain.
Norwegian Participation & Tall Ship Venue
The historic Norwegian tall ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl will arrive in Seattle on October 22, docking at Pier 66 in the heart of the city. The ship will serve as a floating venue for meetings, delegation programs, and technology showcases throughout the week, offering a unique platform for cross-border collaboration.
A strong Norwegian delegation — including technology companies, maritime clusters, and public-sector representatives — will take part in the week’s program and contribute to events aboard the vessel.
