European Ocean Days 2026 – Shaping Europe’s Ocean Innovation Strategy
On behalf of our partners and projects, Maritime CleanTech will be present at European Ocean Days in Brussel. Interim CEO Håvard Tvedte takes part in the EU Commission’s Stakeholder Consultation on the European Ocean Research and Innovation Strategy.
The consultation brings together Member States, industry leaders, research organisations, NGOs and international partners to help design the future EU Ocean R&I Strategy. The outcome will guide priorities, funding and collaboration across Europe in the years ahead.
This is a key arena for ensuring that maritime decarbonisation, scalable green technologies and strong industrial value chains are embedded in Europe’s ocean agenda.
Maritime CleanTech contributes with hands-on experience from developing and validating low and zero-emission vessels, alternative fuels, digital optimisation tools and green infrastructure. The goal is clear: accelerate deployment, strengthen competitiveness and ensure that innovation moves from pilot to market.
As Europe shapes its ocean future, Maritime CleanTech works to ensure that clean shipping and sustainable maritime industries are at the centre of the strategic work ahead.
