Collaboration between partners in NCE Maritime CleanTech to find future solutions for the service vessels in the fish farming industry. The project has resulted in the development of a concept design of a new logistics system with vessels designed for future needs, regulations and technology, with a clear operating profile. Vessel concept will increase quality in the working environment, reduce emissions and contribute to increased focus on hygiene and fish health.
Energy-efficient
Zero emissions
The project gathered participants across the maritime value chain, and included different competence: logistics, design, equipment and energy providers.
By using design methodology the project participants developed new vessel concepts in line with new standards for energy-efficiency, zero emissions, logistics, safety and security.
The concept development was supported by the DIP-programme at Doga.
