With ambitious climate targets and upcoming tenders, the potential uptakes of low- and zero-emission technologies in the French maritime market are gaining pace. As their national ferry and shipping market looks to Norway, Maritime CleanTech invites partners to join the Norwegian delegation of industry frontrunners.

The French emission target is to reduce fossil energy consumption by 40 % within 2030. By 2050 their aim is to be climate neutral. With over 1000 ferries in operation, the largest river-and canal network in Europe, and goals of moving more road transport over to the waterways, the French market for green maritime technology is blooming.

To grasp market opportunities, Maritime CleanTech, Blue Maritime and Team Norway has the pleasure of inviting industry partners to join a maritime businiss expedition.

The delegation will travel to France from September 26th-30th, and participate in a program tailored to the needs of Norwegian companies. In addition to being present at the Sea Tech Week Conference in Brest, our partners will have two days dedicated to visiting the sites of major maritime mobility actors – exclusive to the delegation. Partner companies and solutions will be actively promoted towards central French Industry stakeholders, through activities such as:

  • A French-Norwegian session about the decarbonization of maritime transport, with pitching of innovative Norwegian solutions
  • B2B meetings and networking cocktails with participation of key French stakeholders
  • Strong visibility and branding opportunities under the Team Norway umbrella
  • Exclusive site visits to meet major French maritime actors, both in Brest and Saint-Nazaire

The Norwegian delegation to Sea Tech Week will be supported by Team Norway, consisting of Innovation Norway, the Royal Norwegian embassy in Paris and the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (CCFN).
