The Norwegian Environment Agency has launched a public hearing on climate requirements for offshore vessels. Maritime CleanTech encourages all partners to contribute insights and perspectives.

– These regulations will shape both the pace of technology deployment and the market conditions we operate in. It’s essential that our collective experience and industry expertise is reflected in the policy framework,” Ada Jakobsen, CEO of Maritime CleanTech.

The proposed requirements can be found here📄 .

Maritime CleanTech coordinates a joint consultation response and calls for input from across our network. This is important to influence the regulatory landscape at a time when supply-chain investment, innovation capacity and green value chains are all gaining momentum.

Are you developing clean technologies or operating vessels affected by the proposal? Do you have experience with alternative fuels, offshore retrofitting or zero-emission operations?

We welcome facts, figures, calculations, or practical perspectives that could help assess the impact of the new requirements, and suggestions for how to improve them.
