The role of biofuel in maritime operations (webinar)
17th June 2020 at 12:00–13:30
Event Navigation
The IMO 2050 target represent a huge task ahead in replacing fossil fuels. Various zero-carbon alternatives are under consideration for deep-sea shipping, and biofuel is launched as an alternative that requires minor modifications to existing engines, machinery and storage systems. However, there is also a lot of controversy surrounding the use of biofuels in various sectors, mainly related to availability shortage and sustainability of biofuel supply chains.
In this webinar, NCE Maritime CleanTech gathers experts from both the research, the production and the maritime industry side to discuss what role biofuel will have in the future energy mix.
Please register for the event, a link to the webinar will be provided.
