Yardscore Workshop: Quality, circularity and transparency

April 10 at 08:30 11:00

How do ship owners ensure lifetime sustainability for their ships? How do high-quality yards achieve deserved visibility in the market? What do we need to do to guarantee quality, circularity and transparency during building, docking and recycling?

We want you to help us find the answers to these questions.

The maritime industry is essential for global trade and economic activity, but it faces significant environmental challenges. Traditional shipbuilding, repair and decommissioning processes produce large amounts of waste, use resources inefficiently, and generate high emissions.

Our project, “Circular Value Chains for Ships,” aims to transform the industry by creating a sustainable, circular value chain. This approach will maximize resource efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and promote economic growth.

A key feature of the project is Grieg Green’s “YardScore,” a groundbreaking tool that evaluates the sustainability performance of shipyards, facilitates due diligence and encourages greener operations throughout the industry.

Join us for breakfast and our workshop to help us ask the right questions to shipyards all over the world. Register today to secure your spot!
