Maritime CleanTech will moderate two green shipping sessions during the ONS fair in Stavanger:
In the «Green shipping» session the goal is to give an insight into the development and implementation of zero-emission solutions in a range of different shipping segments. The session will have perspectives from operators, cargo owners, and ship owners in several segments that will discuss how the green transition in shipping can be speeded up to reach international climate goals. Hereunder, discussing possibilities and opportunities for energy suppliers developing the new supply chains for carbon free fuels.

In the Batteries in the ocean space we’re looking into electrification. 70 % of the maritime industry can be electrified. In this session we will show the uses and advantages of batteries in the maritime industries. We want to bring forward the user experience from different users of batteries in marine applications; batteries in vessels, cranes offshore, aqua culture etc Norway has been at the forefront of developing batteries for the maritime sector – what are the possibilities and advantages for export?
