Urban waterways represents huge opportunities for efficient and comfortable zero-emission mobility services in more than 90% of the cities in the world. 

Haugesund municipality steps up to create new mobility between their island and sounds, also supporting regional companies pursuing this new industry.  Supported by the Rogaland county fund Ulla-Førre, the city is taking the lead in an ambitious collaborative pilot program. Partners includes public authorities, universities and research, mobility companies, harbours and Maritime CleanTech. A dedicated test area for the waterways is already in place and a test vessel will be made available for the pilot program.
